About TSOD Cheer
Cheer is a really fun and active way to dance, learning fast upbeat routines to modern chart music with the use of Poms.
Acrobatic movements can be used as well as learning chants. It helps to improve flexibility and builds strength and stamina. A fantastically fun dance discipline and great for anyone who wants to work as part of a team, keep fit and learn something new and challenging.
Poms
Here at TSOD we will supply Poms for the lessons in our Dance School colours. If your child would like their own set of Poms they are available to buy through us; we can pretty much source all colours and can provide mixed colour Poms together.
Please note that these are professional Cheer Poms, and will not shed or break, which is reflected in the fact that the prices start at £20 per pair. Please speak to your Teacher if you are interested in these.
Uniform Information
Although your child probably owns some kind of dancewear, and we're more than happy for them to wear this for the time being, once they are settled into the Classes the practice wear we offer is as follows:
Cheer Hoodies
- Child's sizes £16
- Adult's sizes £22
Girl's T-Shirt Top
- Child's sizes £12
- Adult's sizes £15
Boy's T-Shirt Top
- Child's sizes £8
- Adult's sizes £12
These items can be worn with either black leggings or tracksuit bottoms (Dancer's own).
Footwear
White Trainers or Black Dance Sneakers can be worn to start with, although correct Cheerleading shoes are advisable.
These are £25 up to a Size 1, and £30 for Size 2 and over. They are like a black dance sneaker, but in white, and will support the dancer's feet correctly for this type of dance discipline.
We can also provide a TSOD Cheer Drawstring Bag which is white with either a Full Colour our a Grey and Black logo, all priced at £10 each.
